The USB version of Catch-A-Predator allows the application to be run directly from a removable USB device without permanently installing it on the computer being scanned.

Both the USB version and the downloadable version of Catch-A-Predator are designed as one-time-use applications and remove themselves when the application is closed. The USB version differs only in where the application is run from.
